Sell, bin or scrap?

I'm having to replace the axle on the 206GTI due to warn bushes and wondering if there much point in trying to sell it.

I heard that people use the rear axles from GTIs as upgrades over their drum axles, so worth putting it on ebay or chucking it for scrap and get money on the weight of it?

bit loathed to bin it if i can get a bit of cash for it.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Just stick it on ebay with a 99p start.

If they're saught after as you suggest, it'll go for sensible money assuming the bushes can be repaired.

Or perhaps advertise it on some of the pug forums?

might just dump it on ebay. see what happens.

Most forums dont like it if you sign up to sell something.
I wonder what its worth scrap value.

Can you not just fit new bushes your self ? And save putting a new axle on ?

That was my first thought but we was unable to remove the tailing arms to get to the bushes.
I did not want to spend the money on a new axle but its to late now
