Being an old advert I'm not expecting reply from the OP.
But I wondered how they got on with 205/50/16 tyres on? I'd read they were too large and caused rubbing issues.
Anybody know?

We had no rubbing issues using 205/50/16 on our AUDI A2 with TT rims, none.

Details of rims we used:
RONAL 16-inch x 7J x ET31
Audi Part # 8NO601025M
Ex AUDI TT MK1

Details of tyres we used:
Summer use tyres were Michelin Pilot Sport 3 size 205/50/16
Winter use tyres were Vredestein Wintrac Xtream size 205/50/16

Tyre pressures: 30-psi fronts and 28-psi rears (summer and winter)

Thanks for that, I'm certainly hooked.
It's a great contrast to my A4.

My mistake was not doing my homework properly. I bought a set of 6 spoke "A2" alloys with new tyres on. The only problem they are 205/55/16 and they are too big I believe.
Someone the A2OC forum thinks they might be wheels from an A3.
