Selling TT-RS - Do I take it back to stock

Having put my deposit down on the new RS3, my wifes 2018 TT-RS Cab will be going up for sale shortly. Trouble is, I'm not sure if I would be better taking it back to stock and selling the tuning parts or leave it as is. Its got the Wagner EVO3 Competion kit with the big intercooler and racing cats system which was about £3k and then its got the Forge hardpipe and intakes I believe (can't put my hand on the invoice at the moment). It might cost me around £250 to remove it but whats this kit worth second hand I wonder? Will the TT be worth more with around 510bhp and the glorious pops and burbles? Even Audi just MOT'd it with the racing cats (they did wonder why it didn't sail through the emmision but good to know it passed with them). Obvioulsy got the hasstle of removal with day off work etc too.

Most potential buyers won't entertain a modified performance car so best to put it all back to stock you'll have a higher chance of selling it if you do

Only other potential option is to sell it to one of the many “performance” dealers out there that selling RS’s and the like and use the upgrades as part of the selling blurb.

Otherwise somewhere like PistonHeads I suppose

Try dreamcargiveaways they would probs give you good price for it and most of their cars are remapped aswell, yours sounds like the kind of car they would be interested in i dont think ive seen a newer shape audi tt rs on the page before

What tune did you go with ? Does it still make all the pops on a warm start up ? Worried about which tuning company to go with in case they use the latest Audi base files which remove the start up pops and the one that happen when you just floor it in D. If you do remove I may be interested in the wagner down pipe and sports cat if I decide on stage 2.

I spent £7k on brakes for my old RS3 (yes nuts I know) and just took them off before selling it. Would never have got that extra or anything near it if sold with them on.

I've booked myself into AwesomeGTI in Manchester to have the upgrades removed in a couple of weeks. Gonna cost me £600 including stock map loaded back and alignment but it's high end kit and would make a great second hand package for someone.

The current map was great becasue it cut out the cold start. Was a custom map from ACSpeedtech. The noise this thing makes is immense. Snap crackle and pops all the time (including startup) and goes like stink. I guess it was around 510-520 but it's the noise that makes it. Being convertible, I guess that helps too. Luckily it was the 2018 pre-filter version anyway but these upgrades just made the car what it is. Might have to consider at least the downpipes and remap on the new RS3 when it arrives.
