Hi all,

I've just come over from the A4 B7 forum after a few years absence.

I picked up my 2016 3.0TDi Sportback on Friday, having agreed with the dealer to get £300 off to refurb the wheels (7 twin spoke in OEM silver) at my own chosen refurbisher (Lepsons of Gillingham.) Originally I was thinking gloss black, however I'm wondering if it's too much black on a dark coloured Black Edition, so I'm now being drawn towards dark anthracite. Do any members have photos of a similar colour car, that they'd like to post to help me decide?

I’ve got the black on the sepang, they suit it WHEN they’re clean.

I'm for Anthracite!
I have an A5 special edition plus in black with the gloss black wheels and its too much for me, getting them done in anthracite. IMO Black makes the wheels look small and detracts from the classy look of the audis.

I’ve got the S5 Sportback Black Ed with the 19’s Rots on it...I agree, some black alloys even in 18/19’s make them look tiny...although it’s been a ****** nightmare trying to keep the Rots looking clean ‍♂️

Thanks for the replies. She's booked in with Lepsons for this Friday to do them in gloss black. I think anthracites looks good on AshaD's S5, but that might be because of the silver mirrors.

Anyone know a good source of (genuine) centre caps in black (with silver Audi logo) apart from TPS?

All done. Lepsons wanted £10 per wheel (on top of the £361 plus VAT for the refurb) to disassemble the centre caps and spray them black. Didn't think it was good value at the time so didn't get it done. Seeing what a pain in the ar*e they are to get apart (broken the rings on one and bent another separating them), £10 a wheel might have been worth it lol!

TPS want £140 inc VAT for a set of four genuine black edition caps - definitely not paying that. Does anyone have any recommendations for a source of these, that's not the rubbish that seems to be available on ebay and that isn't going to break the bank?
