just for anyone looking to buy oil atm or dont mind having a stockpile.

Home Bargains of all places are selling shell helix super oil 15w-40 for £1.99 a liter = £10 5ltrs

this oil usually sells for 25 for 5 ltrs and is very good for the older engines, mines is a 97.

And just as an extra thought i'd let you know my car flew through its MOT first time the other day, not bad after 13 years of running and 110,000 miles!

thats very cheap....im getting my oil service next week...costing me £55 for oil and filter with Audi long life jobby :)

could this oil be used in a S3 by any chance? good price if its suitable for your car

well i always thought we needed 0W-30 or 5w-30 if buying aftermarket.... i know theres a VAG code on some but i think your safe as long as you stay fully synthetic.....

personally wouldnt use the above grade though and feel better using original stuff

ain't got a clue about the s3 sorry, I'm only running a 1.6 and an olddd engine, apparently its good for my use.
