I have used the wrong sized sim in my 2014 Q7 MMI slot. Any ideas of how to remove the cover as there seems to be no way of getting the sim back out.....

Even if you open the cover of the unit, the sim slot it completely encased, so your only real option is to keep trying from the front.

I have tried 3 different vacuum cleaners with absolutely no luck. Apart from using something with glue, I cant see any way of grasping the sim. If I remove the whole module, can it be stripped down?
No, the sim slot has metal cover which is soldered to a PCB, best thing I can think of is to make a hook tool to try and remove it.
