My dad whos an Audi faithful has decided to buy a new car as his A4 B8.5 is getting a few miles on it already.
I helped him look and came across the Skoda Octavia RS TDI (which I have to say looks stunning, especially in blue metallic).
Comparing these to the prices of Audi and what stuff you get its just such a good deal, a lot of car and Equipment for the Money so I've got him interested in one of these.
How are they to drive and own compared to the more "premium" Audi? as its a VAG I cant see how it would be a massive difference for a Daily driver.
Any known faults with the Skoda to be aware of? around MY2013/15? Does it suffer from rust/bubbles like some of the Audis for example and where to look extra carefully Before buying?
Seeing this one in person actually made me want one for my next car as well.. haha. great looking thing with some concave Wheels and a 35mm drop or so!
Which DSG to stay away from as well? Was it the 7 thats dry and the 6s that are frequently oiled in?
