Not recommended for this type of engine (I have this stuff in the store I manage). Use the recommended oil and perhaps some injector cleaner every now and again is good enough
Also use decent diesel

There have been various studies that show it has no effect whatsoever. Also, given the PD engine's oil requirements I wouldn't chance putting any additive in that might end up knackering the injector cams
