Why ?

Too Ha&Rd ?
I'm to old lol ... it was slightly stiffer than the standard shocks.... so change them ... but it did handle much better with the h&r shocks ... if it was just me I would have left them on but the Mrs said different

With full ADS your options become limited, i.e. you can only install Springs so yes, you can. You can't replace the shocks as they are core part of the ADS system. However, imho you'll be comprising the shocks with the increased load with lowering springs.

You can change the shocks as long as you install the kw ads delete kit but that's a few quid on its own and you lose the adaptive damping

2.0tfsi with Eibach Sportline -45/-35. Stock 18" wheels with 245/40/18 tyres. About 1 - 1.25cm lower than S-line.

Glad you have found a good improvement over the previous set up. H&R stuff always seems to ride harder than most other products for a similar spec either coil overs or springs. You can reduce the thickness of the upper rubber isolator on the rear if the rear needs lowering a little. Eibach tend to have a bit of rake front to rear.

How would you do this?

Has anybody still got the OE springs still knocking about ?
If so could you measure the ID of the rear spring where it connects to the upper rear rubber perch please ?
