i have a 98 a4 1.8t and recently had the oil changed about two weeks ago. the car has 63,000 miles on it and right after the oil change the car started burning oil. smoke comes out from the exhaust now. there is no oil in the overflow compartment so i'm ruling out a cracked head gasket and it doesn't over heat. i was just wondering if it's just the turbo gone bad the car does feel a bit more sluggish.
Was it smoking when the engine was running?
