Software Update

Just booked my RS3 in for a little bumper scuff (B* French person I think!) and been told there is a software update..Something to do with a 'Gateway'... Any idea what this is? Will try to find out more in a day or so.

Be a tad careful as someone has had the update and now keeps getting a flat battery! Perhaps coincidence though.

I had the TPI software update power management done on 28,09'16 I'm also getting a red flat battery symbol on DIS.ive got a aftermarket viper alarm fitted I thought It might be this draining the battery it obviously ain't

Lol I had it done today and now have airbag warning light!

Balls! Just dropped mine off to get some warranty stuff sorted and this was one of the items on the list. So, looking forward to the car not working as well as it did next week.

People elsewhere have been reporting that the car feels faster after the update, perhaps Audi have been dropping in the new engine
