hi folks my son has set out on his driving adventure with a 1.4 zetec fiesta 2004 model
thing is im used to my 140 bhp tdi a3 and I thought the fiesta really lacks power uphill
its done 83000 with a full ford service history timing belt done at seventy k ,I took the spark plugs out and replaced them none were oiled up air filter clean !
any other suggestions

Its always gunna feel slower than your tdi as you won't have the turbo pull...

Yup, the 1.4 petrol engine will have nothing like the low down torque that a TDi had. It needs revving, and revving hard, to get the power out of it.

First car so not quick is food, especially as like many youngsters at some point this year he'll have q bump
