Spacers

Hi,

I’m looking to fit some spacers on the RS3.

I ordered some from eBay, but I have the issue off the inner lip from the hub being too long and hitting the spacer so it isn’t sitting flush.

Anyone know which spacers are the correct ones?

Cheers

Are you fitting to the front or rear? Do you have your hub lip length?

Damian @ DPM Performance

I’m looking for 10mm all round.

I don’t have the hub length to hand but I know that is the issue when I ordered the previous set of wheel spacers.

Was the issue with the rears only or both front and rear? I'm guessing they were cheaper spacers?

Damian @ DPM Performance

I didn’t try them at the front, just assumed it would be the same issue all round.

I’ll try them tonight at the front to see the outcome.

But ye they were cheaper ones, MTEC?

When you check if you can get the hub lip depth as well.

Damian @ DPM Performance

So just checked and it’s 12mm.

Them brake-disc-hubs could do with a polish, bobby, before you fit the spacers:

Just sayin'...

They do look a lot better polished. What product did you use?

Spigot depth is 11.6mm measured on BLUEY, Bobby, just measured...

And to polish is quite easy; Solvol Autosol, a 30mm dia buffing wheel, and an electric drill - and them are 2012 (47i6) brake discs...
