Spider tuning box?

I intend having my B8 2.0 tdi 143ps s-line remapped but not sure who's to plump for,this one looks quite impressive. www.dieseltuning.co.uk/spider.html

Anyone have any experience of this product? Thanks in anticipation.

Nah.A one size fits all?Looks a bit halfords to me.Each engine is differant .So a remap has to be personal to that car.I got mine done by cnl where my remap was tailored to my engine, not on a general or an average spec.It now drives like it should do.Best thing i ever did.

Thanks merlin, but revo are way behind cnl.They dont offer a remap on my 2.0 170 ppd.Helpful guys though!

Merlyn, I quite understand your concerns, Its no mean feat going in cold using a company that you dont know, on an engine that could cost thousands to replace.Its very rare nowadays that I 'go in cold' because of the amount of tossers out there, be it plumbing roofing or whatever.So I go by recommendation.PJMSpeedy recommended CNL.And he wasnt wrong!!

Hey John, glad I took your advice, Colin came up last weekend and remapped my A4 and a friends S3,can only say"What a difference" smoother,quieter,no turbo lag,more responsive ,flat spots gone and better on fuel and a much nicer drive.................as for the S3,its scaring him now! Thanks again!! (didn't have time to go out in his Beemer!)
