Springs query

As I now own my S3 and also a dolphin grey 1.6 for the wife, I need some help if possible.

Fitted my s3 rims to hers yesterday instead of the puny 16's and it looks a damn sight better but it does somewhat resemble a roller skate. Don't want to splash a massive amount on it but have my spare standard s3 springs in the garage with nothing better to do.....

You know where I'm going with this........

Good or bad idea!?

Springs from a heavy 2.0 turbo'd quattro fitted to a lighter 1.6 FWD.... doesn't sound like the best idea to me.

The Quattro springs are different to the FWD.
