Squeaking steering wheel?

Hi guys,

I have noticed my new to me 13 plate bitdi has a squeaking steering wheel.
Its only doing it when moving the wheel small movements left and right or straight.

any ideas what this could be please?

Audi know about this issue, as it also affected upto MY16 cars. My first new A6 was rejected due to this issue, as Audi Germay told the dealership not to touch the car until they completed their investigation to the issue. My A6 took the best part of 3 months to reject and there was still not a fix available by the time I returned the car, that was Aug 2016, so there could be a fix available now. May be worth going to your local dealership and see if they can find a relevant TSB.

Mine had same and posted about it few years back... AUK had no idea so replaced the whole steering column and associated parts. No problem since.
