Squeaky back wiper

Both me and my wife ( A1 and S3 ) have a squeaky back wiper they goes through me each time I reverse and it’s raining.

What’s the best product to use to stop it occurring

How long should they last as they ain’t that old TBH

Get a good window cleaner and give the windows an extra good going over and also clean the wipers as well .

Ones from the manufacturer have a worn indicator that changes colour when they need replacing but try giving it a good clean as @pinky said

If you Google it you'll find most places recommend every 6 months - 1 year! Seems excessive. I reckon I change the fronts about every 18 months as they usually stop wiping effectively but reckon the back wiper should last longer.

Get a good winscreen treatment on the cars then when you are moving the water slips off the window and you dont have to use wipers as much.
I use Rain Racer but I have the house windows done as well .

What about Gummi Pflege??? I bought some the other week for my door seals, it's meant to stop them freezing/sticking in very cold weather, it also softens rubber!
