I think steel grey has a slightly darker/bluish tone to it over Rotor grey ....l loved Rotor grey leather on my TTS

Exactly this colour on the seats, same on my A3 Sport (different pattern seats of course). I think it brightens up the interior a little, considering headlining is also dark colour.

Most people seem to go with the default Rock Grey. There have been a few picks of Steel Grey in the forum over the past year or so: a search on “steel grey” should find them.

I guess when it's not a sunny as the above pic it looks like this (A3 Sport trim seat pattern).
Door opening handle and 'arm rest' there is also in the same colour
