on the news everyone is speaking the name of the place Port Talbot too quickly si it sounds like Port Albert. I know that there are bigger things going on in the world and I shouldn't worry but it is really setting my teeth on edge.

I feel like i want to jump in the telly/radio and massacre the people who are saying it incorrectly, similar thing (but opposite if you catch my meaning!) happens with some folk how they pronounce "Newcastle" like its two words. These people are winding me the **** up!!!!!

Erm, you spelt industry wrong.....

Oh the iron-y!.....

(see what I did there?)
I know, edit wouldn't let me change grrrrrr. I also mispelled "teeth" but edit fixed it :) Nice metal pun as well :D

I hate bad grammar. Being a teacher doesn't help the situation. Unfortunately you're not going to chance the way people speak in certain parts of the country/world.
Similar to the American girl who went on a Twitter tirade about British people (although she stated English as if it is only English people who speak English) not spelling 'American' words properly. Total numpty.
