straight tailpipes on 1.9tdi exhaust

If I were to fit the twin cut out rear bumper valance onto my avant 1.9tdi is it a simple job to just fit straight tailpipe trims to my downturned tailpipes - obviously I would expect to cut some of the original pipe down

Yeh, most people just weld new tips onto the back boxes. Depending whether your 1.9 is quattro, you'll obviously only have tips one side unless you fit a 1.8T (or similar) system.

Is it straightforward to put a twin exit system from a 1.9tdi Quattro if you only have the single (one sided) system as standard? I know the bolt holes etc are all there underneath for the mounts, but wasn't sure if the exhaust route would be a direct fit?
