Hello Friends!
I've made some mods on my Instrument cluster, like Staging, and so on ... nothing of strange. Now my Cluster (VC) reports an Incorrect Coding . I've reset the error but it come out and seems to be a static error, that means that the codification of the cluster is really bad.
I've restored the old coding but nothing ... the error remain!!!

I don't know why :sob:
Can you help me please to recover from this strange situation ?
Thank you very much.
Enrico

Without providing any coding data, its hard for anyone to help.

@NHN You hare right, sorry.

Here my coding before errors:

Address 17: Instruments (J285) Labels:* None-SRI2

ROD: EV_DashBoardAU65X_001_AU58.rod
VCID: 2D0709A9DD92C0B3145-8078

No fault code found.

Now I have this coding and now I've error of invalid codification.

The ONLY difference is on BYTE 18 BIT 2 that means: Tachometer_erweiterte_Skalenteilung,yes (--->Speed scale more precise)

I'v tested the original codification (the first one in the message) but also with that coding I've now error.
I don't understand.

Can the cause be the coding/adaption of another ecu ?

The only other three modifications that I've done are:

1)Address 0xA5: Byte 48 Bit 7 (rp_Rim_protection,installed)
2)Address 0x46: Byte 20 bit 4 (Mirror Retraction at comfort close)
3)Address 0x09: Byte 2 bit 1 (DRL on MMI Enable/Disable)

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you veru much.
Enrico

Did you return all adaptions & coding to as before the error, or just the coding, if not then do this too.

If you recoded other modules also, then yes this can affect too, so backtrack any changes you made.

Ok, no adaption in the modules. I can recode all the ecus to the original value.

Thank you,
I will try
