Hi guys,
My car developed this horrible grinding noise a couple of months ago, and I'm having a nightmare trying to fin what is actually causing it.
It seems to be coming from the front brakes area, when the car is moving.... then stops when the car is stationary but seems to change in tone when you hit the brakes. It sounds like metal to metal grinding almost like a stone/rock is lodged somewhere and rubbing against the discs.
However, I searched around the forum previously for answers.
So far I replaced the discs and pads all around. The discs look like they had seen better days...there was like a circular ring around the discs where the metal had corroded off all together.
I also replaced the front splash guards...checked to see if any stones were stuck there etc.
Anything else to check before I book it into a garage?
Thanks
