Strange problem with Audi 80

I recently bought an Audi 80, which I'm really pleased with, but the fuel guage only works intermittently and the temperature guage doesn't work at all.

I'm assuming it's the sender units, but would apprecaite any other suggestions. I would also like to know if there are any online shops where I could buy the replacement parts, and where the guages are located.

Any info much appreciated.

For parts I would always recommed VAG.parts.com if you don't see the part you're looking for email them.

you could also http://www.vw-audi-specialists.co.uk/ or german and swedish, sometimes people break cars on e bay and tell you not to bid

that`ll be your `vaultage regulator`then.its on the back of the instrument binnacle,it is very small and is held on with a small screw,making it relatively easy to replace using parts from audi/volkswagen.they are only pence to buy too if i remember.hope this helps,thats my good deed for the day.
