is it possible to add a aubwoofer to the audi sound system without changing the system, what i mean is are there preouts and remote power from it ?

Yes its possible...what subwoofer are you thinking of adding? An OEM one or an aftermarket one?

All depends on cost really, ideally oem, im not sure what system i have or where the unit is, i have a box in the glove box for cd and memory cards

If its OEM, then the best person to speak to is @DJAlix he does plenty of these retro fits and codes your stereo to have a subwoofer control etc

ive one of these in my boot above spare wheel. not sure how effective it is but its not obtusive.

Cheers guys i will give him a message , mine is a saloon so believe the sub is fitted to the parcel shelf rather than the spare wheel, would that be true
