My old man has been a legend as per and has been fitting parts for the faults. Car is currently at his place.
Engine temp sensor fitted and she now runs smoother and less rich.
Airbag light/error fixed with one of these:
Online reports of this fault code are very vague. But seemingly caused by low battery voltage, which considering this car has been stored for 3 years makes sense. Outside of a new airbag module are the above devices on eBay, for £25 it was worth a punt.
I had fitted a new ignition switch as the steering lock and ignition felt awful. The new one fixed this issue but now triggered an ABS module comms error. The ignition switch was faulty causing intermittent supply to the abs module, fuse 9 on the dash fuse panel.
Old switch returned and new one hopefully won’t be long, from the forums good friend at Crewe Audi.
N75 fault has since disappeared, maybe related to engine temp/ignition switch errors, who knows, il keep an eye on it.
S3 carriers sourced and 312mm discs fitted
I’m in the process of buying a house so the car is on the back burner really. Hopefully be MOT’d and on the road soon. Happy with how she’s turned out anyway.
I’ve kept the facelift rear lights from Adolf, but I actually prefer the pre-facelift so I’m not going to fit them.
Completely stock bar some creation breather hoses.
The S3 front end will be fitted eventually but I need to source some rear lowering springs to match the front coilovers. I could run them at stock height, but who wants to do that.
