Suspension kits......are the A3 quattro the same as S3??

After my S3 failed on leaking shocks and cracked springs its time to upgrade.

trouble is i cant find reasonable priced lowered suspension for £250ish?

Venom do the FK street kit which is aparently out of stock. there are various listings for the A3 quattro, just wondered if anyone knew the differences at all???

main difference is the drop link on the S3 attaches to the strut.

A3 attaches to the wishbone.

Many (most?) A3 kits dont have the mounting point for the drop link on the strut body. If you can find a set that does, then you'll be fine.

many thanks mate, aparently the fk kit is back in stock in a few weeks so ill just be patient and wait.

Does anyone know if the Ta technix kit for a3 quattro/s3 is a better or equal quality to the fk kits? And aren't the rear springs different on quattro models?

rears are the same as S3 S3 fronts will fit a quattro, all quattros S3s inc have the drop link from ARB to shock rather than ARB to lower arm
