Definately not. different size, different wiring and different model of car.

Actually, sizes are the same, but the wiring and antenna systems are different.

so the only way i can keep a audi head unit and play mp3 is to get a phatnoise.

only other thing on the symphony II i like to listen to my music a lttle loud and if i turn the volume up its not really as loud as id like it, is this some sort of fail safe, is there any other way around it

You could go for an RNS-E and use the 2 sd card slots for mp3's

Phatbox still cheapest option though. Ive seen them go for as little as £120 on Ebay.
