Morning All. Does anyone know whether any letter after part number 038145209A/E/N/Q fits the awx engine or whether the new metal gasket fits the older pumps with the rubber gasket. Thanks Tommy

A was dropped in 02
E was dropped in 07
K was dropped in 06
H was dropped in 07
and N is the latest part number!
and doing a search for the part number with A brings up that it will fit all these models!

Hi stu-m, Big thanks for quick reply it's been doing my head in, So if theh letter just changed i'm assuming That letter E will also fit 2001 1.9 tdi awx engine, I hope so as i've got the chance to get a brand new one for around £100. Thanks Tommy
If I search for the part number with A it brings up the engine codes awx avf avb bke clicking on the part brings up all the letters mentioned above so I cant see why it wont fit
but doing a search for the part number with E it doesnt show it up in search for the A4 it shows it for an A3 1.9/2.0tdi but the image is different! but it also shows it for the A6 awx/avf engine
