TDI Quattro Gearbox oil Change

Is this a big job? I asked the garage to change it whilst my box was out, he seemed to think vag com was required?

i would have thought if the box was out it would be no problem did he need vag.com for that job? as id think if you need it to change the oil
you would need it to have the box out

Nah it's an manual.
Not sure what to think, I'll have vagcom next week

The box is completely mechanical.

To change the oil,you need oil and the sockets to open the drain and filler bungs , oh and some oil. Thats about it, i would be worried about a garage that gave you such an excuse tbh....GULP!

They're good with the stuff that counts to be fair.
There seems to be pipes coming off the box, with banjo connections though?
