Technical Help Required Urgently Please.

Just had my car plugged into a computer at an Audi gaf to find out if there was a problem with my fuel reading. The guy said the following numbers were important and incorrect when he was running the diagnostics.

He said the 1st 2 digits represented wash wipe and something else, 3rd digit was for 4WD, 4th was for the number of cylinders and the 5th he didn't recognise and should have in fact been a 2. (1 = 4 cylinder car, 2= 6 cylinder car and 3 = 8 cylinder car.

Can anyone shed any light...?

sounds like you are talking about codings, but the number you have put above looks more like a fault code, recommended the guy explains a bit better to you

Can't see it myself. The car's made up of modules and I'd be surprised to see the wipers mixed with 4wd and the engine. In fact if you interrogate the 4wd module you don't get anything as it's purely mechanical and not a system such as Haldex.
