Help Please temp gauge rises

just wondering weather anyone has had the same problem. I have a A4 2013 sline 150ps. water temp gauge has gone right up put blowers on it comes down then it will be fine. has anyone had any faulty header tanks seems to be a slight crack and water is all over the top of it. could this be the water pump breaking up and thermostat? thanks in advance

Sounds like pump or the stat I had same issues couple years ago on my 2009 s4 heated up under load, changed pump and stat at same time been fine since

easy job or not? is it really worth the hassle of doing it yourself on a Saturday morning say or is it a bit more complex?

Not fimiliar with the s line engine mate, mine was a supercharger off job so got my local to do it

okay will try and find out abit more see it's an easy job rather do it myself tbh then I know for sure it's done right.
