2013 A4 TFSI Avant 170
At 11,400 miles my coolant level had dropped to the minimum (it dropped by about 1cm over the previous 1000 miles). Booked it in urgently as I was about to do a trip to Scotland. Dealer couldn’t find any trace of a leak and it was OK when pressure tested. Dealer topped it up and now after almost 4,000 miles it has remained constant of perhaps dropped a little but nothing of any consequence.
However, in the last month the temperature gauge which up to now had sat steady at 90 started fluctuating. Rarely reaching 90 and sometimes as low as 70 while driving. Also slow to warm up. Dealer says the temp gauge fluctuation is normal but it didn’t do it before, it warmed up quickly and my previous 2 A4s temp gauges always sat at 90. I don't accept this. Thoughts? Any likely link between these?
