Just wondering if the pre-new site 'thanks' totals have been reinstated for some users and not for others???

I ask because my 'thanks' total was about 200-300 before the site upgrade, and as announced at the time everyone's totals reverted back to zero, making mine now about 30.
BUT I've just noticed that somebody's 'thanks' totals are already back into the thousands.

Admittedly this geezer is pretty helpful, but 1000 odd 'thanks' since that new site started about 3/4 weeks ago??? Nah.

So what's the deal please???
