Due to demand from our customers wishing to take the Powervalve variable tone experience to the extreme we have recently completed development and testing of the Powervalve WRC system.
The centre silencer assembly has been removed and replaced with a straight through section to create the widest possible exhaust swing between normal and boosted driving.
This is not for the shy and retiring types - only the brave need apply ;-)
Cheers
Nige

Porn as usual! It's really loud! Is that with closed or open valve?

Yours might be louder than current formula 1.

That's on WOT - off boost sound is sensible and drone free (spot the 'Gizmo')

Funny thing is I haven't even heard mine yet!

Only Nige and Dave have heard it on low boost before it went for its holiday at Storm.

not quite - yours has the centre silencer assembly ;-)

Suits an old git like me.

As long as we can get 600+bhp down it I'm happy!

Looks and sounds fantastic Nige, definitely the system I'll be going for when stage 2+ is on the cards! When will pricing and ordering information become available?

What's this gizmo? Just looks like an open end to me

How much we talking to supply just the centre section to replace existing mid silencers?

It just might be one of these.

If it is then it's a helmholtz resonator.
Stops the drone.

Oh that sounds naughty. Can it be switched from dynamic to open all hours?

What would a system like this cost and can it be shipped to south africa.
Been looking for just the right system for my 8P S3, this seems to be the one

BCS said on Facebook that this Powervalve WRC TBE costs £1150 (that's with a de-cat downpipe), shipping to anywhere in the UK is £20.

Your best bet is to call Nige up on 01744 610244 to discuss shipping to SA.

Oh dear ... The BCS brand has ended up in the 'my exhaust is louder than yours territory'. When's the 6" exhaust trims coming then? :witless:

So Nige, will there be any power gains or benefits over the WRC powervalve compared to the Sport powervalve? Or will it just be noisier?
And do you have any recommended fitters of your fine exhausts in the Suffolk area?
Lastly, Are you having a Crimo sale this year??? :welcoming:

...there would be a very small increase in the gas flow velocity on the WRC - but mostly it's all about the on boost sound.
If the WRC is too much we can offer the 'Sport' variant with single centre silencer or 'Prestige' with twin centre silencer.
We ship quite a few systems out to that part of the country and I'm sure that there are members on here who can point you in the right direction.
However, if you want us to do the install I'm sure there's a deal to be had - we are taking orders for fit slots in November currently.

Thank you so much Nige.

Got the system fitted, and man oh man what an experience.

I have been getting questions as to where I got it, the guys that installed it are amazed.

All the way from South Africa

Nice gizmo, not very long? I calculated for my car it would need to be about 15 inches long, I must have done it wrong (probably the temperature part of the equation).

OEM exhausts have this gizmo built into the backbox or the rear resonator on a 2.0t a3, so rest assured it is good at killing drone!

These exhausts really do seem the mutts nuts! But what do you lot do about MOT's? De-cats, etc are an instant failure. I had enough of that with my Subaru for 8 years. Surely the MOT is even harder on emissions?

Go for the powervalve with 200 cell sports cat or I believe if you get a 100 cell you have to rag it about to get it hot before you take it into the mot station.

The BCS Powervalve 200 cell cat is 125mm in dia, providing an flow ratio well in excess of the gas feed entering it...
We therefore only offer 200 cell fully road legal cats - MOT's are not a problem...
