So a few years ago replaced the original clutch pedal with a welded version as had not had the bracket snap (approx. 120k miles), but today it failed ! I did manage to get the clip back in and get the car somewhere a bit more safe out of harms way but it popped again.
Whats everyone doing these days ? For such a simple design flaw surely there is a robust revised part available ?
I still have the original pedal but hesitant to install this, my mechanic had said the clutch feels heavy and maybe this is related.
So, so far £244 later to RAC plus a pint of peroni in the the olde ship Inn.
