We seem to be getting hit from China, Korea and India. The problem is that they are using real people to post the spam. We are having to block these countries to try and stop it but it will also block real people as well. I hope that it will slow down soon.

They are really having a good go this morning. I am an admin on UK Passats and we get these things every now and then, We just ban the users IP addresses and e-mail addresses. Delete the users and posts. Takes about 30 seconds per user.
They soon get bored and go away . As you say they are usually real people that are creating those user ID's as the bots can't get past the Captcha screens.

If you think its tiresome spare a thought for us having to manually remove every box and ban the user,against them using programs to spin loads of threads ( cue tiny violins being played by sympathetic ASN members )

No its not Chez,it is businesses promoting their wares using software but once we register spam it goes onto a database which tells every forum the ip address is dodgy but the ever evolving world of technology makes it more challenging.
I think Admin have the manual registration process back on ( or are in the pipeline ) so now one of the admin team have to say check new members are kosher
