A chance to let everyone know about your mates / dads / cousins friends uncles's fast car.
The quickest car I have been in was an Escort Cosworth with 385bhp and an extra 100bhp of Nitrous. It went to 60 in 3.67secs and broke down a lot. Often throwing drive shafts all over the road. It topped out at about 165mph. Was quite funny as it hit the limiter then went for it again straight away. It was quite scary as it lost traction at over 100mph changing gears. He was going to get a 6 speed sequential box as he always got beaten by bikes. Was going to gear it for 180mph!
Was in the Michelin Pilot colours with magnaesium dymag alloys, had Alcon discs and pads, full connolly rolls royce leather retrim, rockford fostgate sounds etc.
I loved that car. Was about 7 years ago, but still remember the feeling /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/1luvu.gif

the quickest car i have been in was the Caterham 7 R500 around Mallory we went around M3's, S4's, Scobbie's and Evo's on the straights and around the bends. wonderful
Quickest cars i have been in was may mates fiat coupe 20V turbo heavily modified doing 150mph + on way back from Southend. Other fastest car was a friends skyline R33 GTS modified too.0- 60 in a little over 5 sec and damn quick top end dont know how fast we were going cause the speedo stopped working after 120 and went all funny.../ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

I blagged a Nearly New Ferrari 360 M for half an hour to deliver some tarts to my staff /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yes.gif and got blown away by an Escort Cossie cos it was a little wet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Also borrowed a Mitshi EVO 6 Extreme(only 50 ever made IIRC) off the same guy for a day, and broke the clutch(£2000 - OUCH!), needless to say, he's not lent me a car since hehe. Fun non the less./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
yes indeed Rich, Holding onto the rear apron handles and thinking are my legs secure whilst travelling at 170Mph is not a good thing to be thinking, you see you cant curl up and say it ainthappening in a nice comfy chair, a bikes seat is like a slippery retreat in which you must hold on for dear life.
Awwwww man i couldnt do that i dont know if i would trust myself or the driver!!!! Think i would need some pampers for the ride/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh_roll.gif

Quickest thing I've ever been in is a F40 which was stupidly rapidly fast as **** at Oulton Park on a TVR track day. 2nd to that would be my mate's dad's TVR griffith 5 litre which is stupidly quick and sounds mental with its lemans stlye exhaust that has been fitted! Drove it too which really /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/swear.gif off my mates who didn't and his son!
slowest thing would be my mates old yellow ex ambulance ebay bargain (hmmm?) volvo. it even had tinted out rears so we all shotgunned the back!!!!! hahaha. people in the warrington vicinity might have seen it. my brother has a private pilot license and he flew over and it stood out like the great wall of china!!!

Fastest car ive been in was a scooby WRX. Went to a meet with my mate in his scooby to Coventry a few years back on a bank hol monday. This guy was there in his WRX STI which he had spent £9k on the engine (so he said), it had full bodykit and on board digi cam pointing out the front windscreen. gold 19s and sorted suspension. The owner was tweaking with his mates bonnet intercooler on the estate scooby and they went out for a spin in it. They came back and Daz, the owner of the STI, took out this guy in his, me and my mate got offered the ride aswell. There was 4 in the car and **** me did it shift! Never felt accelration like it, it actually hurt when the foot was planted. Needless to say, I giggled it was that much fun!
on the back of a bike aint much fun, was on my mates Honda CBR on way back from bassetts pole doing 140 and the wind is frightening! I like the weak legs feeling when you stop and get off!

My mates RS500 Cosworth 590 BHP at the rear wheels in a D Reg car. This things running a T25 (Think it's a T25 not sure though) at 2.1 Bar of boost. He's spent over £25K on the engine alone and is built to racing spec.
F*ck me it's quick, but because of the size of the Turbo it takes for ever to spool up, but when it does flipping hell does it shift. You are thrown and pinned into the seat.
No use on a standing start as it can't get the power down, but when it's rolling it's silly quick. Out accelerated an R1 motor bike and left it for dead. Just one of the many cars/bikes it's killed.
Only problem is it keeps on blowing Diffs and other parts, but it's going to cost too much money to uprate. £7000 for an uprated diff, £8000 for an uprated gear box etc... etc...

One night on our way back from Southend and alot of chavs down there me and my mate were travelling back in his Skyline and came across a Sierra RS Cossey....that thing must have had at least 500 Bhp under the bonnet. My mate pulled up along side doing about 80 and he floored it and this thing left us sitting like we were standing still. Fire out of the 4" pipe.....it was like a rocket taking off. The rear was pulled down nearly draggin along the ground and the tyres scrammbling for grip as it swerved from left to right. It was very impressive...thing is it was full of chavs too...5 of them. On the right setup i reckon there isnt much that can touch the old cosseys one of the best engines ever built!
that's interesting! 125mph was your fastest possible speed or just taking it easy? would have thought it would go a wee bit faster! not dissing, just interested!!!

Crazy. I don't think I'll ever travel down a B-road that fast again. Particularly not one lined with very large trees.

Noble M12 GTO 3
Porsche 911 (996) Turbo
Brabus Smart (only does 112mph, but by crikey it feels like a million miles per hour in one of those)
There are more but those are the most noteable.

Gotta be my mates Noble M400. The handling was also superb. Bit like sitting in a mondeo what with it all being fordy switches etc. but a fantastic fast mad car nonetheless

Quickest car I've been in was an old mates R32 GTR with 670bhp. Went out with him when he was in a bad mood one night, and witnessed 186mph on the GPS on the M2, this was about 6 years ago. This car was not long ago bought by RK tuning and they have chucked about £40k into it

I was a passenger in a Nascar around Daytona a few years back, fastest car I have been in, never drove a really fast car. My Cosworth powered Sierra is pretty quick, but not hypercar quick.
