Thermocouple adaptor for hybrid EGT

Guys, been looking for an adaptor to fit a 1/8NPT thermocouple into the M12 x 1.0 pitch thread on a BBT K418T for a couple of weeks now with no results.

I sent Dan at BBT a message but no reply...

Anyone got any idea of where I can get one? It's the last job before I refit the engine.

I take it this is so you can install an EGT gauge? . . If so, what do you plan on doing with the OE egt sensor?

no egt std on yours? what engine code?
amk/bam should have one for example, an oe one

It's an APY Bill.

The back of the the turbo is tapped, but no blanking plug - I guess it should have one?

I see someone over on audiSRS.com was having a similar problem with EGT sensor on an exhaust manifold.

If I can get a blanking plug, I'll weld a boss into the downpipe instead.

If someone has a busted OE EGT probe, I'll buy it off them? That'd work....

You could get an M12 * 1 brake pipe end and drill and tap it for 1/8 npt .

I have found brass adaptors for oil pressure meters etc but steel would be better I would have thought.
