Thinking of an S2 Avant.

Hi Guys.

At the moment i drive an Impreza Turbo Estate.
But due to a change of job through redundancy, i cant really afford to keep it/run it.

Would an S2 Avant be any cheaper, as far as running costs are concerned ?

Or am i jumping into the fire ?

TBH it will probably be about the same

Seems a very inforamtive site.

My main concern is more the fuel costs, which, i know isnt supposed to be a factor when buying one of these, and i should probably go look at a diesel, but i've always wanted one...lol.

Can anyone tell me roughly what they are getting with theirs ?

Mine has the same engine bar a few things different manifold so on and i get between 17-20mpg ...with MODs

With no MODs you should get 24-25mpg but it really matters how you drive
