I have a BlackVue and its superb. My friend had one and after trying it was very impressed. Not cheapest but very good and high quality video playback.

I have a cheapo off Amazon. £35 including type 10 32gb SD card. Had it 6 months now and has never let me down. Very small and sits in behind the rear view mirror. Don't have it wired in but hidden all but the cable too it from behind mirror.

Very easy to install. If you go with the Blackvue, you may want to pick up the Power Magic Pro to enable you to record whilst your away from the car.
