Donington Monday and first time taking my own car on track so wanted to make the most by recording. Installed Harry's Laptimer (Petrolhead Edition) which sounds great on paper but is buggy and unresponsive so tried TrackAddict which works fluently but delays speed readings and couldn't find files outside the app (also not keen on pricing of RaceRender which goes with it).

Was looking to have speed and location on track recorded but now wondering if the phones basic video recording app is the only option or if anyone has any other suggestions.

Don’t bother with the apps, just enjoy Hooning around on the track day. You’re not racing or in competition with anyone else.

Take a dashcam and stick on permanent record mode.

Well it turned out they were running late so rushing everyone on and didn't even get to set up anything haha.

Went out with radio up, aircon on, sunroof and windows open.

To be honest the whole experience was very disorganised on their part didn't check the car over or anything.
