Beaten by a range rover.... well good as .
Lights change, i floored it, so did he. the RR literally lept forward a whole range rover length ahead of me before i started to move. ****** DSG....After that i could stay with him but couldn't make ground. My poor old stg 1 will stick with a Golf R so its doing well for its age but this lag on the DSG is a real failing.
I suppose the saving grace is he might have 500bhp but he was probably doing 5mpg

A good watch, I was fortunate enough to have a play with one of these, brutal machine, eye watering fuel consumption when used though.

He'll have been fully automatic, so basically apart from stamping on the floor, he's not even driving, so don't feel so bad

They are ****** quick! One left me on a motorway in Germany, both gunned it around 80 - the pull it has is actually amazing for the size of it.

Well they are but they have a fully auto position as well. #
Of course i am guessing it was a 5.0 as it had nothing on the back...might have been a 2.0 TDi in which case i have a serious problem...
