Hi ive got a bit of a random question

Theres a huge tree in my front garden and my car is parked right under it, the sap off the tree covers my car which is a pain so im havin 2 clean and polish it like once/twice a week

Just wondering if the sap could cause any damage to the paint work??
When i wash my car it does come straight off without any problems

Any1 know about this...... I cant cut the tree down as its my mum and dads and already been tryin this but they wont have it

If left on it could stain the paint i guess. If its removed quickly I cant see too much of an issue.

Claybaring and polishing should remove any contaminants.

As above until tomorrow morning...lol!!

Im in the same situ mate and I feel your pain!!!

My wife's car gets the same at work and it do's my head in too - I would despair if it was my own car lol!

There are some quite decent car covers about these days would that help?

Bang a load of copper nails into the bottom of the tree,....that'll see it off ;)

Tree sap isnt too bad on paint though as long as you remove it I think. I hate it when it happens to my car as everytime you pop your window down it smears all over the shop.

I wish I could get rid of the tree, ITS HUUUUGE!!!
