Ttrs caliper touching disc

im literally in the middle of installing my ttrs calipers with vagbremtechnic brackets and I have a problem. One side of the caliper is touching the disc.

What can I do.

Would it be ok to just space the bracket with a washer?

A friend had this on his 8p RS3 when fitting some Alcon discs

They sent him some washers to shim the caliper out a little.

The washers went in between the caliper and mounting bracket.

The first thing I would do is get on the phone to Vagbremtechnic, explain what the issue is and ask what they recommend.

Yeah I did. Unfortunately they sent the wrong bracket. New one in the post. No hassle. I thought it was odd alright
