Facelift TTRS Steering Wheel Retrofit

Hey, i'm gonna attempt the TTRS steering wheel retrofit in my car
I've tried searching online but found no information at all regarding this retrofit.

Can someone that did that installion share some expierences? Also, i've found this item on AliExpress:

I didn't quite understand if it's used to completely do the retrofit (as the TTRS airbag connector pins are different then the A3 ones), or it's used only as an "activator" for the StartStop & DriveSelect buttons that are added on the wheel

Anyway - to summit it all:
1) if I use the above product do I still need to re-pin the airbag connector?
2) If eventually I do need to re-pin the airbag connector, which pins do I need to change and to where?

I believe there is a post out there of somebody trying to do this. They ran into an issue with the start stop and dynamic buttons. The link you posted should solve this issue with the wireless communication but I would think that you would be the first one to try this add on.

I seen a S3 for sale recently with the TTRS steering wheel all in. Advert said it was all coded in and all the buttons work.

Will look stunning once you've finished the retrofit !

Yes I know it can be done, and i'm sure it will be stunning hahaha
The problem is there is actually 0 information from what I can see online regarding this retrofit
