TTS/TTRS Wishbones to S3

This was a mod you'd do on the 8P S3 and recently I have seen some 8V and Golf R owners do this mod.

Anyone on here done this?
Worth the hassle?
Anyone the part numbers?

Only a 2kg weight saving from what I have read

I'm not sure if the 8V RS/S models have aluminium arms. The hubs are aluminium though.

There’s the Ali subframe mod and Ali wish bones as well. Think you can pick up the subframe from eBay for around 150 I’ll try and get a price on some after marker wishbones if your interested. I was considering polybushing a full set up to go on mine but undecided at the moment.

ignore me, skim reading lol.. yes, S3 and RS3 doesn't but the TT does indeed have aluminium arms.

8S0 407 151 D is the part number for both sides as its mirrored. Looks like £170.17+vat each.
