Well that s a bit much anyway for my car I m looking to get close to 170 bhp or 180 and torque not more than 370-380. I must say that I ce checked their webpage and this came up stage 1-206 bhp and 400 something newtonsExcept it won't really be 206 bhp..

Where can you get a decent soft for £300-350 Gaz?Rick doesn t answer to email..Darkside asks for £480. Bobby s busy till June( probably wait for Bobby Singh) Revo dealer 399+vat... Apr dealer in Sutton doesn t answer to email. Richter is another one I have to checkI'll never understand this practice of £460 for snake boxes when I can get a remap for under £280 with before and after Dyno Dynamics runs and print outs .
These times we re living now make no sense to spend £500 on a car as I m a simple car bloke only one that works and provides nothing big just the best I can. Have a family and pay for all bills makes me think twice on how to spend some money I don t really have. So I m not in such a stage on my life to put £800 on a tune but if he can good for him everyone do whatever they want but got your point.AdiA mate had his new AMG GLC 63S mapped by Acid at MSL .
£800 !! He doesn't do over 60 and I told him the next service or two might update the software and wipe the remap .
He didn't seem too bothered , more money than..
So anyone some thoughts? Price wise is fair and coming to my place is ok although can t say that I wouldn rather have the car on dyno before and after. AdiPlease remember to accept the download of images to view correctly. Still having difficulties viewing this email? View in browser
YOUR CELTIC TUNING QUOTATION
Dear Adrian,
Thank you for your enquiry with Celtic Tuning, leaders in Electronic Engine Enhancements.
We are a global brand with a dealer network in 29 countries worldwide and full mobile facilities in England & Wales. What sets us apart from the competition is that we are genuine software developers with the technical ability to develop bespoke software in house; whereas most other UK tuning companies are re-sellers of software from third party companies. Not all tuning is equal, a remap is not simply a remap, it is the end product of a lengthy development program.
All of our software is developed in our state-of-the-art facilities using our two 4WD dynamometer test cells. All engine parameters are logged to ensure we provide the safest available software upgrades for your vehicle which are also fully MOT compliant.
AUDI A4 (B8) 2008-2014
THE PERFORMANCE
The Audi A4 (B8) 2008-2014 ECU remap takes the power from 134bhp up to 206bhp and the torque from 236lb/ft up to 298lb/ft.
This stage of software is designed as a software upgrade only meaning it is all within safe tolerances of the engine and drivetrain and requires no hardware modifications.
THE COST
The cost of the remap is £295.00 all-inclusive for which we travel to your location whether it is home or work place.
Alternatively, our eMotion2+ self-tuning device supports your vehicle. For £395.00 with free UK next day delivery give yourself the freedom to switch between different stages. To buy visit www.emotion-tuning.co.uk.
With all remaps we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee which gives you plenty of time to ensure it is exactly what you are after if not we will revert your car to its original software and fully refund you.
THE AFTER CARE
For complete peace of mind, we provide a FREE 12 month's insurance backed supplementary warranty for vehicles still under warranty: Download Warranty Information.
HOW WILL IT AFFECT MY FUEL ECONOMY?
With our diesel upgrades, customers regularly report fuel savings of up to 10% but is very much dependent upon your driving style. This can be achieved on our performance remaps as well as our economy maps.
Our economy maps are designed for efficiency on part throttle and are for those customers focused on improving their fuel economy. Fuel economy savings are achieved by getting through gearings quicker and maintaining higher gears for longer not a set speed for a prolonged period of time returning X amount of fuel savings.
We provide all stages of tune through to full custom setup so if you have specific requirements please just ask. On many applications we also cater for larger turbos and injector upgrades so if you are looking for ultimate performance then we have the knowledge and ability to do just that.
Don't just take our word for it, there are hundreds of testimonials from customers all round the world. To see what they have said please follow the link:View Testimonials.

Hi Bobby just sent you an email without knowing about your message here. No rush I just want to know that in the next month or so I have some sort of idea who s going to take the job and where. I m very happy If you can do it in two weeks time if that s ok for you? Or whenever you have time after you finish your other jobs. AdrianAdrian - I might be able to do this for you next week if you are really in a hurry, but I've got a few cars to get through who have paid for hardware hence why I said June.
Cheers
Bobby
Hi I can t make any comments on changing turbo and stuff but for obvious reasons a bigger turbo and an intercooler in some good hands are the way forward but cost wise I m sure a remap is cheaper. Depends what you re ready to put down£££I am to looking at Celtic tuning for a remap on my b8 2.7 or to just get a 3.0 turbo?? Just trying to find the parts I would need and if it's cheaper?
So anyone some thoughts? Price wise is fair and coming to my place is ok although can t say that I wouldn rather have the car on dyno before and after. Adi
Yes about torque I was saying because they offer 206 bhp and almost 300 lb/ft from 236 and that s going to fry the clutchClutch is about torque not BHP and how smooth it comes in .
Funny that I m really watching their vlogs/videos on youtube. And yes Bobby was my choice from beginning but I kind off missed an opportunity ( it s hard to find the sweet spot when comes to tune/remap your car isn t it?)They’re all just generic files from the likes of Celtic and all the others that will come to you. You pay nearly as much as a proper job with no way of knowing what’s been done or what power your achieving or if it’s even within safe parameters for your engine.
I’d use bobby if I was down south. My mates just bought a 330d mapped by him. I’m yet to go out in it but by all accounts it’s a clean smooth map that pulls well with next to no smoke. Other than that I’d only really be looking at darkside or unicorn motor developments if your up north. Bobbys rep proceeds him so it’s all about how it drives with him, and I don’t think you’d be disappointed. The other 2 have very good reps and have dynos for before and after figures. Have a watch of some videos on darksides YouTube channel. They don’t hide anything and tell you exactly what goes into modifying and re mapping diesels. It’s a bit of an eye opener at times, educational and also an enjoyable watch.

I would of thought they can now produce a smooth one .
