How can we ignore that paintwork chap :scared2:, you could see that from space, but on an upside it is very distracting from the tyre sidewall.:whistle2:

It is not really on the sidewall as such more on the edge of the tread and nothing exposed, probably ok but only a tyre centre / fitter or mot tester would confirm either way.

I've had a lot worse and it passed , maybe now it would just be an advisory.

The wheels are scuffed a bit but I have a set of 17" 6 spoke from a 07 a6 allroad. Thought about fitting all season tyres on them and refurb the nuvalari copies.

Forget the wheels chap, you need to sort out that rust , even if its a home DIY paint job it would be way better than its current state, you're letting the side down.:sadlike:

As Sidrick said it wont fail, I had some pzero's that one got a chunk out the side after a previous di**head boss curbed some new wheels I had on my Mercedes and it passed an mot this looks minor compared to what mine were like.
