Tyre pressures

Hi all I am a little confused on what tyre pressures I should be running car is a3 saloon 2.0tfsi 190 Quattro. Also here is a photo of my pressure label my tyres are 225/40 18.

Look up your tyre size first then in the chart the first figures are for normal loads, the third figure is fully loaded with people and luggage and the middle figure is the 'comfort' setting. That’s how I understand it.

If it helps at all I run 38PSI front & 35PSI rear, S3 Sportback 225/40R18

I have 225/40/R18Y on my A3 Sportback and I’m running them at 32 and 29 - just between ‘normal' and 'comfort' settings around town. If I ever went on a long drive I may increase them to 35/32.

seems weird that your a3 sportback is that low for 225/40/18, my 2014 3 door a3 is 38 front and 35 back tyres and it feels perfect and that what is recommended on sticker inside door for mines, i used to put my own pressures in but once i started using the pressure on sticker it felt much better to drive.
You would think the sportback a3 would be higher or atleast the same as 3 door on 18” wheels

Yes, I agree although on the same sticker for V rated M&S tyres it gives a different reading.

Maybe because mines has 1.8 engine and might be a bit heavier than the smaller a3 engines but who knows, as long as it drives well its all good
