I'm driving a 45 TFSI Sports saloon. I opted for the standard seats rather than the sports seats as they seemed fine on my test drive. Big mistake. Seat comfort is subjective but I find these really uncomfortable. The car seat squab is too short and doesn't adjust for tilt. I also find that the offset of the pedals to the right cause the raised right of the car seat squab to uncomfortably dig into my right thigh. Love the car otherwise but the lack of car seat comfort is almost a deal breaker. I've played around with various car seat covers with foam but they make no difference.

Yup. I agree with absolutely everything you've entered in this post. The lack of tilt and the very short seat base are a killer. The lack of padding is another issue. I had S-Line seats in my A6 C7 and I can't believe how poor the standard seats are.
